LG Art Lab Promotes Simple and Secure Digital Artwork Sales Via Hedera Network » Dallas Innovates

Art lovers now have a new simple and secure way to buy curated digital artwork at home with the LG Art Lab on LG Smart TVs with Blade Wallet, the fastest growing wallet on the Richardson-based Hedera Network.

LG Art Lab said that since its recent launch on the Hedera network, the company has promoted innovation and provided accessibility to the digital art world, solidifying its position as a leading curator of digital art.

Hedera and the LG Art Lab team collaborated with enterprise Web3 solution providers, Blade Labs, to introduce simple, secure purchasing of NFTs. LG Art Lab also said that it continues to reduce the friction of transitioning between Web2 and Web3 activities, accelerating personal and enterprise adoption of Hedera’s distributed ledger technology.

Along with providing greater accessibility, LG Electronics said it is committed to exclusively offer authentic digital artwork for LG Art Lab, through trusted and established art sources from across the globe.

Championing artists while democratizing the art world

The LG team said that it continues to champion artist rights by introducing mutually agreed royalties to the NFTs available through its marketplace, empowering artists to automatically receive royalties every time their work is sold and re-sold, without any requirement of additional intervention or work.

By focusing on accessibility and authenticity, LG Electronics said that it is helping further democratize the art world and empowering creators through LG Art Lab, a fully interactive digital marketplace that allows users to trade high quality digital artwork and enjoy them on LG’s Smart TVs.

Hedera’s distributed ledger technology is known for delivering enterprise-grade security, speed, and scalability.

Blade has become the most globally adopted wallet on Hedera and is responsible for the creation of over 40 percent of all accounts on the network.

  • The Richardson-based Hedera network is a public distributed ledger that’s helped advance everything from long-distance drone flights to stablecoin issuance to next-gen gaming and more. Now you can add art to the list. Yesterday LG launched its own NFT platform—LG Art Lab—on the Hedera network, giving users a “one-stop shop” to buy, sell, and showcase digital artworks. The platform moves the concept of NFT art from computers to “a piece of art displayed as any other artwork would be within the home of its owner,” says the CMO of Swirlds Labs, the team behind the Hedera network.
